In the original Nintendo version of Tetris, Willis Gibson—a competitive Tetris player from Oklahoma—made so much progress that the game crashed. "After this, I don't feel my fingers," he remarked.
On December 21, 13-year-old Willis Gibson, in his Stillwater, Oklahoma, bedroom, rocked back and forth in an office chair, unable to comprehend what he had just done.
His Tetris score was "999999," and his screen was stuck.
